Smylo is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses, clinical assessments, or professional dental advice.
The recommendations, scan results, and guidance provided by Smylo are for general informational and educational purposes only. They are based on publicly available oral health guidelines from recognised organisations such as the American Dental Association and the NHS.
You should always consult a qualified dentist or healthcare professional for any dental concerns, symptoms, or before making significant changes to your oral care routine. Smylo is not a substitute for professional dental care.
Théo Louis Pottier accepts no liability for any health outcomes arising from reliance on Smylo's recommendations.
Smylo participates in the Amazon Associates affiliate programme. Some product links may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Product recommendation links in the Smylo app and on smylo.site may be Amazon affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and make a purchase on Amazon, Smylo may earn a small commission (typically 3–5% of the sale price) at absolutely no additional cost to you.
Products are recommended based solely on their suitability for your oral health profile — factors such as sensitivity, age, allergies, and whitening goals. Affiliate relationships do not influence which products are recommended to you. We never recommend a product because of its commission rate.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Smylo content without prior written permission.
Smylo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that recommendations will be suitable for every individual.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Théo Louis Pottier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Smylo, including but not limited to adverse reactions to recommended products or reliance on scan results.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraudulent misrepresentation caused by our negligence, as required by Danish and EU consumer law.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Smylo at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use. Continued use of Smylo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Smylo shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
